The numbers are in, and according to trend forecaster, the Doneger Group, men’s bracelets are selling at an all-time high. Sales rose in general for the men’s accessories department, which includes bags, hats, scarves, and umbrellas, but bracelets topped them all. Bracelets are traditionally popular with women, but jewelry and fashion designers are quick to point out that bracelet-wearing men in countries like Italy and Japan, plus the help of blogs, have spread the trend globally (—we see you Kanye!). With companies like Minsai, Burkman Brothers, David Yurman, and Diesel making more masculine designs, sales won't be slowing down anytime soon. [The New York Times]
