A dope event for a good cause

Art events are cool and everything, but sometmes a few come along that not only exhibit works by amazing artists, but also benefit a worthy cause. Postcards From the Edge is a Visual AIDS benefit show and sale of original, postcard-sized artworks by established and emerging artists. All guests and buyers are given a list of artists at the door, but all postcarda are displayed anonymously, so all participants can take home a piece by a famous artist, or someone who is just making their debut. All money raised will support HIV prevention and awareness. 

Participating artists include: Featuring artworks by Donald Baechler, Marilyn Minter, Barry McGee, Ed Ruscha, Louise Fishman, Adam Fuss, Kiki Smith, John Baldessari, Ross Bleckner, Yoko Ono, Marcel Dzama, Jeff KoonsMcDermott & McGough, John Waters, Polly Apfelbaum, Jonathan Lasker, Mary Heilmann, Louise Lawler, Bill Jensen, Jane Hammond, William Wegman, Jack Pierson, Lawrence Weiner, Pat Steir, Thomas Woodruff and over 1450 other artists.
