Dr. Romanelli’s Atlantic Yachting Collection Sets Sail For Fall

Mash-up nautical-themed staples.

Debuting at Nick Wooster's special section at the PROJECT tradeshow in Vegas — known as PROJECT WOOSTER — Dr. Romanelli’s ‘Atlantic Yachting’ Collection was one of the standouts.

Sourcing textiles from a Manhattan yachting business, much of the collection's blazers and bags are made from sails that date back to the late 80s. One of the key fabrics is a sail called the "spinnaker," an often-colorful sail meant to move sailboats faster downwind.

The visual of salt deteroriation revealing materials underneath influenced the lighter textiles for the DRx garments and the bold linings in the blazers and shorts.
