There have been a few videos popping up recently of projection-mapping artists, including a recent Ralph Lauren presentation that went down in NYC. The technology uses projectors at night to paint three dimensional scenes onto buildings, and it is AWESOME. We just came across this video that South Korean artist Lumpens a.k.a Yong-seok Choi created, which showcases Robot Taekwon V—essentailly the South Korean equivalent of Transformers—projection mapped onto the Seoul capitol building. Lumpens played the projection map along with an original score by the nation’s premiere instrumentalist, DJ Soulscape, and the final product is really something else. Check it out. [Youtube]
