Video has surfaced from the physical altercation that Broncos wide receiver Cody Latimer engaged in outside of a strip club back in February. TMZ released footage of the fight, which you can watch below.
Latimer, 24, was with his uncle and a friend when they got into a disagreement with a bouncer outside of the Diamonds Cabaret strip club near Dayton, Ohio. Latimer was trying to get into the club and the disagreement pertained to the club’s dress code, per TMZ.
The group asked to speak to the manager. Latimer had his arms spread between his crew and the bouncer, and then appears to have slapped the bouncer. That’s when punches started flying.
The bouncer sprayed Latimer with pepper spray and Latimer’s uncle got knocked out.
Latimer told TMZ he was trying to deescalate the situation. Police were never called to the scene, and there is not currently any criminal investigation. In other words: this will probably not be pursued further, and Latimer probably just wants it to go away.
Latimer, who is originally from Dayton, caught eight passes last season. The former second-round pick out of Indiana also served as a kick returner.
