On Saturday night, Nike Football bussed hundreds of football fans from across Melbourne to a secret location filled with three things almost everyone can agree on: live futsal, FIFA on Play Stations and free Nandos.
The 'No Turning Back' event showcased the skills of six futsal teams from across the country, who did battle in a rapid-fire elimination competition. The Australian national team eventually claimed the title, but were pressed by teams including Sydney's D10 and the Nike All-Stars; a team that included former Socceroo Mark Bresciano.
Spliced in among the action were appearances from Socceroos including Tom Rogic, Trent Sainsbury, Aaron Mooy, Robbie Kruse and more, while Brazilian team members Coutinho, Fernandinho, Douglas Costa and Alex Sandro got the audience hype with their surprise appearance on the pitch.
