Celtics fans were understandably upset after their team lost Game 1 of their first-round playoff series against the Bulls on Sunday night. Boston worked so hard to get the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference Playoffs this season, so it was tough for their fans to see the team squander an opportunity to take a 1-0 lead in the opening round series. There were some reasons for the Celtics’ slow start—the Bulls are, in theory at least, better than the average eight seed, and Celtics star Isaiah Thomaswas playing with a heavy heart in Game 1 following the death of his sister over the weekend—but that didn’t make it any less frustrating for fans.

And no one was more upset about the loss than a young Celtics fan who made his way onto TV screens across the nation in the final seconds of the game once the Bulls had clinched a victory. After Jimmy Butler hit two free throws to give the Bulls a four-point lead with three seconds left on the clock, TNT panned to the kid to get his reaction. And as you can see in the clip above, he appeared to respond by dropping an F-bomb on national TV.

As you would imagine, it didn’t take long for the internet to get its hands on video of the kid, and NBA fans reacted to his reaction by crowning him a hero:

Assuming this kid roots for other Boston-area teams, he really doesn't have too much to complain about. His generation has more titles than they can count:

But hey, if this clip doesn’t sum up the sports fan experience perfectly, what does? We’ve all been there, kid. You just happen to be going viral for it.
