Cam Newton has never been a shy or bashful man, a fact that has simultaneously won over fans and created critics. You might have thought his flamboyant style would be a non-issue in the offseason, but people are tearing him apart for the outfit he decided to wear to Coachella 2017.
Newton was spotted prowling around the yearly music festival, and Carolina's star QB is strutting his stuff in a pretty unique piece of clothing. Check out what he's walking around in:

It wasn't all slander, mind you. Though Newton had his fair share of detractors, the Panthers' QB had fans out there, with some people even wishing they could get their hands on the outfit for themselves:
Regardless of what his detractors say, Newton is going to continue doing his thing. To date, he's worn a top hat, a Santa suit, a barbershop quartet hat, gold cleats... and really we could keep going through his audacious style choices all day.
Newton is having fun during some downtime in the offseason, and he's probably pretty comfortable to boot. Regardless of what you think of the aesthetic, it's hard to hate on that.Â
