Wednesday (March 8) was a big day for Brandon Marshall (the wide receiver, not the linebacker). He signed a two-year, $11 million contract to move across town and play for the New York Giants.

Marshall might need to eat into that $11 million, however, to pay off a debt he apparently still owes. See, Marshall bit off more than he could chew last summer when he called out Pittsburgh’s Antonio Brown.

Marshall, who will turn 33 in two weeks, felt a surge of confidence and challenged Brown, one of the most prolific receivers in the league, to a weighty bet.

It all came down to who would finish the 2016 season with more receiving yards. If Marshall won, he got Brown’s Rolls Royce, and if Brown won, he got Marshall’s Porsche.

The final tally: Marshall had 788 receiving yards, and Brown had 1,284.

Brown hasn’t forgotten Marshall owes him a Porsche. He responded to Marshall’s contract announcement tweet with a reminder.

Now u can send the Porshe bro 🔥🤔 https://t.co/iCnkxIe4Fe

Brown is currently on a four-year, $68 million contract, so needless to say, he could buy his own Porsche if he wanted. But a bet’s a bet!
