Zlatan Ibrahimovic is claiming credit for one of the goals of the season.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan's scorpion kick against Sunderland on Boxing Day picked up the December award for EA SPORTS Premier League Goal of the Month, and the recipient of Player of the Month – Zlatan Ibrahimovic – is taking credit for Mkhitaryan's award, too.

Speaking to EA SPORTS, Zlatan said he taught Henrikh how to pull off a scorpion kick:

"It was an amazing goal. I mean, it’s a goal you cannot describe or even really dream about. You can, but to make it real is much more difficult. I’m happy for him because it’s a goal that people will remember forever. I’m also happy because I was involved in it...we trained a couple of weeks before and I said exactly how to do the movement, as the pass needed to be perfect."

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s impressive form over the last month has been integral to Manchester United’s unbeaten December, with the veteran Swede moving to joint second in the goalscoring charts with 13 in the league.
