Tyler Bate became the first UK champion on Sunday after winning the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament at the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool. In addition to dealing with inexperience being just 19 years old, Bate was battled a shoulder injury that he sustained after being ambushed by Pete Dunne prior to facing him in the final.

After executing his Tyler Driver, Bate went for the pin, and his reaction says it all.

As the Dudley-born wrestler was awarded the belt by Triple H, you can see him clearly favoring his bummed shoulder. But the pain couldn't supersede the overwhelming emotions he felt about etching his place in WWE history.

Following the improbable victory, Bate even made a believer out of Triple H, who expressed his satisfaction towards the direction of the WWE with the 19-year-old on the roster.

During his post-match interview, Bate was more than speechless about what he had just accomplished in the ring. "It sounds quite surreal, to be honest with you," he said. "I wish I had words. I don't."

Congrats, Tyler. Now onto bigger and better things!
