UPDATE:

Not surprisingly Mayweather responded to White's proposal negatively, twice calling the UFC president "[A] f*cking comedian." In a video posted on TMZ, Mayweather told the street interviewer to look at his super expensive watch, which apparently costs somewhere between 220-350K. Guess that's his (very obvious) way of saying no.

Dana White, who once said there is "no way in hell" a fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor would ever happen, is now offering Mayweather $25 million (plus a split of the pay-per-view orders) to make that fight actually happen. The UFC president also proposed the same terms to McGregor. White made his offer, which will undoubtedly be flatly rejected by Mayweather, on Friday afternoon during a broadcast of Colin Cowherd's The Herd:

White re-iterated his previous position, which is that any negotiations to fight McGregor start with him. "First of all let's cut out the BS," White said about Mayweather's previous comments that implied McGregor had an offer to fight him on the table. "[Mayweather] hasn't talked to anybody about this fight."

From there he continued on a similarly impassioned theme. "To think that you're the 'A-side.' How are you the A-side?" White wondered. "The last major fight that [Mayweather was] in, [he] left such a bad taste in everybody's mouth that nobody wants to see [him] again. His last fight did 350,000 pay-per-view buys. Conor's last fight did 1.3 million and 1.5 million pay-per-view buys. I don't understand how [he thinks he's] the A-side." White also stressed that McGregor is Mayweather's real chance at a "money fight."

Anyway, his offer would appear to be far away from what Mayweather is looking for, as Floyd said on First Take that he wanted $100 million, and would be willing to give McGregor $15 million, when he was on the show earlier this week.
