Serena Williams goes out of her way to keep her private life as private as possible. When she was asked about her love life during an interview with Fader back in October, she said that dating is "something that I just really don’t talk a lot about, that I just keep totally separate and totally private."
But about a year ago, reports emerged indicating that Serena was dating Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. And while she hasn’t spoken much about her relationship with Ohanian—you also won't find any social media posts that feature the couple—it seems it has progressed to the point where the two are now planning on getting married. On Thursday afternoon, Serena took to Reddit to announce that Ohanian proposed to her recently and that she said yes. Here was the initial Reddit post that she put up:

No photos of the ring yet, but we wouldn’t be surprised at all if it had a diamond as big as the one in the picture above. We will be sure to let you know if Serena and Ohanian release any kind of official statement confirming their engagement in the coming hours.
