Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young has been sued for allegedly attacking an opposing player during a church league game, according to TMZ Sports. On August 18, Young participated in a pickup game at the Shepherd of the Hills church in Porter Ranch, California when he lost his cool after getting fouled by a man named Luis Solis, and the referee missed the call.

Court documents obtained by TMZ Sports claim that Swaggy P became "enraged" over the missed call and attacked Solis, beating him to the floor. At one point, Young's teammates allegedly stepped in, and starting kicking Luis while he was down. Solis claims that he sustained a number of "serious" injuries from the attack, including a concussion.

According to Solis, Young is no stranger to getting violent during pickup games. While Luis has yet to file a police report, TMZ Sports is reporting that he is "contemplating" taking action against the Lakers guard. For now, Luis is filing a lawsuit seeking unspecified damages.

Following a tumultuous 2015-16 campaign stemming from a video posted by Lakers teammate D'Angelo Russell where he admitted to cheating on then-fiancée Iggy Azalea, Young has looked like a completely different player this year under new head coach Luke Walton. In addition to averaging his highest points per game total (14.1) in three seasons, Swaggy P is shooting the highest field goal percentage (45.8) of his career, and playing the hardest he's ever played on defense.
