It has been said that Russell Westbrook plays like a man possessed, or a human wrecking ball, or a real-life video game, just to name a few. However, when Denver Nuggets head coach Michael Malone discussed the Oklahoma City Thunder star guard's playing style, he came up with something different and incredibly strange.

Prior to Friday's game between the Thunder and Nuggets, Malone had nothing but good things to say about Russ at the team shootaround. “16 years in the league, I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a player like him,” Malone said. “His strength, his size, his athleticism, his explosiveness, his attack mindset, just a phenomenal player.” Then, Malone dropped a weird metaphor, adding, "He plays like someone pissed in his Cheerios every morning."

Uh, this is a compliment coming from Malone, right? When asked for his thoughts about Malone's remark, Russ was understandably just as confused as the rest of us.

In his first season without Kevin Durant, who decided to sign with the Golden State Warriors this past summer, Westbrook has been doing a little bit of everything, averaging 31.8 points, 10.5 assists, and 9.6 rebounds per game, while leading his team to an 8-8 record so far. The Nuggets should be fully prepared for Russ to go into "someone just pissed in his cereal" mode tonight.
