The Cavaliers may have won the NBA title this past year, but that hasn't stopped the Kevin Love haters from ragging on their favorite target. People are still saying he doesn't fit in with Cleveland's roster—either personality-wise or in a basketball sense—and the Cavs should get rid of Love in favor of another big man.

Today a reporter asked Love how he feels about the negativity.

"I love this team," Love said. "There will always be stories. I don't think they'll ever leave, but frankly, I don't really give a s***."

Who can blame the guy for the transparent and somewhat prickly response? It must be frustrating for Love to still be hearing this type of question when there is no tangible evidence—at least recently—to suggest his teammates are sick of him.

It was less than four months ago that he locked up Stephen Curry in the final minute of Game 7 of the NBA Finals. He was absolutely pivotal in that game and throughout Cleveland's improbable run to the top last season.

The new season hasn't even started yet. Aside from the odd J.R. Smith contract situation, the usually-drama-ridden Cavs have had a mostly drama-free offseason. Let's let Kevin Love live, at least for a little bit.
