Josh Norman was seeing red on Sunday afternoon after witnessing a lot of yellow on the football field during the Redskins game against the Bengals in London. During the game, which ended in a 27-27 tie, the Redskins were flagged 15 times for penalties, with Norman getting called for four hands to the face infractions as well as one pass interference penalty that was declined. And he was not happy about it while speaking with reporters after the game. He was upset with one referee in particular.

"Who’s No. 88?" he asked, referring to third-year NFL referee Brad Freeman. "He sucked. I’ll be honest with you, he was terrible. I feel some of the plays going on out there, I mean, it was terrible. It’s just how I’m feeling and how the team feels right now. It needs to be watched and reprimanded. They reprimand us, so what’s the reprimand for them?"

At this time, it’s unclear how many penalty calls Freeman was responsible for on Sunday, but Norman set his sights on him after the game and took shot after shot after shot at the job that he did.

"Third year in the league and he comes over and how many calls did he have? Anyone know?" Norman asked. "I’m pretty sure he had the majority of them. It doesn’t make any sense…I’m baffled by it. They need to sit down and look at it. Every time [Bengals quarterback] Andy Dalton threw the ball, I felt it would be a flag."

The NFL hasn’t had a chance to respond to what Norman said just yet, but there’s a good chance he will eventually be fined for making these comments about Freeman. Not that Norman cares. If you haven’t noticed (see here and here), he’s never shy about calling the NFL out when he thinks they’re doing something wrong.
