With a mix of diehard Chicago Cubs fandom and newfound frustration over seeing the Cleveland Indians take a 1-0 lead in the previous inning, Bill Murray delivered a spirited performance of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" during Game 3 of the World Series. "It's the bottom of the 7th inning, the last chance to order beer," Murray told the Wrigley Field crowd. "But we didn't come here to drink beer, we came here to win this ballgame." After getting the crowd all riled up, the 66-year-old comedian informed the Cubs faithful that he would be performing the Wrigley Field tradition as "our greatest American entertainer" Daffy Duck.

From crashing a White House press briefing with Cubbies gear to giving a shout out to his favorite MLB team while receiving the Mark Twain prize for American humor at this year's Kennedy Center Honors, Murray has worn his Cubs allegiance on his sleeve, literally and figuratively, over the last month. It's only right that he would be the one singing 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame' in the team's first World Series home game in 71 years.

Even with Murray's inspirational speech, the Cubs were unable to put a run on the board, falling to the Indians, 1-0. Chicago will look to bounce back from a tough loss and even up the series Saturday.
