NFL wide receiver Wes Welker is currently a free agent, so he had some time to prank some people at his former work place in Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. Sunday. And he has a long history for posing as other people.

Before the Dolphins vs. Patriots game today at Gillette Stadium, tailgaters were unassumingly treated to a pleasant surprise by none other than Welker posing like his former Patriots teammate Tom Brady.

Welker wore a Tom Brady mask, and donned a Patriots dark blue t-shirt with Brady's No. 12 on the front with the hashtag #FakeBrady on top of the numerals. The masked individual showed up to the Gillette Stadium parking lot where Pats fans were probably drinking, BBQing, and doing all that tailgaters do before kickoff.

In the clip above, you can see how Welker eventually revealed his identity by stripping off the Brady mask, much to everyone's surprise. Patriots fans took a pic with the Fake Brady and went nuts once Welker removed his mask. One of the fans even hoisted Welker off his feet because he was elated to spot Welker in his circle.

Welker tweeted his support for Brady, who was suspended back in April for the first four games of the 2016 NFL season for his role in the Deflategate saga.

Brady returns to play on Oct. 9th against the Browns. Welker played six seasons with the Patriots before he was traded to the Denver Broncos in 2013.
