That night, Hardy and a passenger were pulled over by police for failing to use a turn signal. When asked if there was anything illegal inside his car, the 28-year-old said no, and then granted the officers permission to search his vehicle. In addition to a brown weed grinder, the cops found a Louis Vuitton wallet on the center console with "a purple plastic baggie containing a white pasty substance," and "multiple gun range membership cards," according to TMZ Sports

The "white pasty substance" tested by the cops turned out to cocaine, and Hardy was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance. In the police report obtained by TMZ Sports, the 2013 Pro Bowler said he didn't know what it was, and claimed "someone must've put it in there when he passed his wallet around at a party the night before." On Monday, Hardy paid his bail of $5,000.

After the Cowboys decided to not re-sign Hardy prior to the 2016 campaign, he became a free agent who is currently looking for another NFL team to take a chance on him. However, this latest incident is one of many reasons why it's very likely that we will never see him in the league ever again. Good.
