On Tuesday night, Drake took part in the first of two Summer Sixteen Tour stops at Oracle Arena in the Bay Area. And heading into the night, there were a lot of fans wondering if he would bring any of the Warriors players out to join him on stage during the show. Would Steph Curry make an appearance as Drake performed “0 to 100/The Catch Up”? Would Klay Thompson pop up out of nowhere and show Drake some love? Or would Kevin Durant endear himself to his new home crowd even more than he already has by electrifying the Golden State fans gathered at Oracle?

The Splash Brothers didn’t end up showing up on the Summer Sixteen stage with Drake (though as we mentioned earlier, Drake is back at Oracle on Wednesday night, so maybe they'll show up at that show?!), but KD was there and, at one point during the show, Drake welcomed him on stage as he got a huge ovation from the more than 15,000 people who attended the concert.

“I want you to make some noise for my brother Trey 5, Kevin Durant,” Drake yelled. “I told you I was getting some big rings this year, boy. Oracle Arena, make some noise for my brother one time! Am I allowed to keep going? It’s your call. Let’s go, for the Bay tonight.”

This more than makes up for the time KD got booed before a Team USA game earlier this year.
