Whether you like it or not, the "Tim Tebow, baseball player" era is officially upon us. Earlier today, Tebow held his much talked about MLB tryout with plenty of scouts in attendance.

According to the MLB Network's Jon Morosi, Tebow ran the 60-yard dash in 6.65 seconds, which would put him as an "above-average runner." One scout reportedly told ESPN.com's Jerry Crasnick, "Anything above 7.0 screams 'corner guy' or DH."

Tebow ran drills in the outfield, including center field where Taylor Blake Ward of Scout said he was "not getting good reads" on fly balls.

When Tebow shifted over to right field, he showed off his arm strength.

Tebow eventually stepped into the batter's box, and showed some exceptional power.

Even though Tebow initially exhibited some solid power, a skilled hitter needs to consistently make adjustments in the box. This is where he kind of fell apart. When facing former nine-year veteran pitcher David Aardsma, and two-year reliever Chad Smith, Teeball Timmy hit the curveball well, but struggled against the changeball.

It was a tryout that was met with its fair share of positive and negative reviews. But if there's one takeaway from the entire day, it comes from USA TODAY Sports' Bob Nightengale, who shared this opinion from one scout in attendance.

Kudos to Tim Tebow for effort, but in words of 1 scout:He looked like an actor trying to portray a baseball player.' https://t.co/lW1oYW5mu6

Welp. It may be time to hit Tebow with that "good job, good effort."
