Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith still don’t agree on anything when it comes to Tim Tebow, even though they’re not on 'ESPN First Take' together anymore.

They aren't on the same show anymore, but on Tuesday morning, Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith proved once again that they will never, ever, ever, ever, ever agree when it comes to arguments about Tim Tebow. Tebow was one of their favorite topics to debate during their time together on ESPN First Take—you could argue that Skip's love for Tebow and Stephen A.'s disdain for talking about him solidified the success of First Take a few years ago—and they seemed to debate Tebow again on Tuesday, albeit from a distance, after ESPN's Adam Schefter revealed that Tebow is planning to try and play professional baseball in the near future now that his NFL career has fizzled (it's a story that almost seems like a gift from the sports gods made specifically for ESPN producers in the dead of August).

Skip and Stephen A. obviously didn't argue about Tebow's sudden career change face-to-face since Skip left ESPN in June to take a job at Fox Sports. But Skip took to Twitter a short time after the Tebow news broke and said that—surprise!—he thinks Tebow will excel on the baseball diamond:

Tim Tebow, suddenly trying to become a pro baseball player at age 29? Impossible. Which is why I wouldn't bet against him.

Remember, with lots of ppl laughing at him, Tebow took a bad 1-4 Broncos team on a 7-4 run to div title and playoff win over Big Ben.

Tebow has big-leaguel left-handed power. Can he hit big-league pitching? Hardest thing to do in sports. Wouldn't bet against him.

No doubt lots of former HS/college stars stuck on long hard minor-league road are either amused or angry at Tebow's "delusional dream."

Skip also mentioned that he's not to only person who thinks Tebow turning to baseball is a good idea. Former MLB player Gary Sheffield, who is helping Tebow train, thinks so, too:

Interesting that Gary Sheffield says he has watched Tebow hit in the batting cage and believes he has IT - big-league potential.

So Skip thinks Tebow will be able to do the "impossible":

That year Tebow took Denver to playoffs, he had NFL's best QBR in last 5 minutes of games. Willed wins. Often did the "impossible."

Stephen A. isn't buying it. Although he didn't directly address anything Skip said, he went on a long-winded, but somewhat entertaining rant while debating new First Take co-host Max Kellerman and yelling in his direction:

You play football all the time! Wanted to be a quarterback all the time! Practiced all the time! And still couldn't throw! But baseball, which you were very good at by the way at Florida, all due respect, you haven't been playing that in years. So the sport that you practiced religiously and somehow couldn't make happen, now you're going to go to baseball where the ball is smaller and dudes are throwing at you 95 miles an hour and all of a sudden you're just going to come out of nowhere and you're going to become a Major League Baseball player?!
Look I've said this on many occasions—I'm trying to be nice!—I truly am trying to be nice, but the arrogance! If I am a baseball player do you know how insulted I am that Tim Tebow's about to have a workout and everybody and their grandmother's planning on showing up to see Tim Tebow!?

Damn. It's almost enough to make you think all of those years together weren't just an act.
