If someone owes you money, there are a couple different ways you can attempt to (legally!) get it back from them. You could, of course, just ask them for it. You could also file a lawsuit against them. But if neither of those ways work, there's one other thing you could try, too—publicly shaming them on social media until they finally crack and give you what's yours. Hopefully, you never have to go that route, but that's the path Scottie Pippen's wife Larsa took on Twitter on Tuesday when she tried to squeeze six figures out of Christian Laettner, which is money Laettner reportedly owes to the Pippens.

Larsa got things started by sending out this since-deleted tweet:

Larsa Pippen tweets at Christian Laettner.

She then followed that up by wondering how "homie sleeps at night" after "fucking us around forever":

If you're thinking "Wait, what is she talking about right now?" here's the back story, as provided by TMZ Sports: Laettner and his business partner Brian Davis rounded up investments from a bunch of rich friends and associates back in 2007 in an effort to buy the Memphis Grizzlies. Investors like Pippen gave Laettner money as part of a proposed deal. But when the deal fell through, Laettner reportedly failed to pay many of his fellow investors back. And while Pippen was eventually awarded a $2.5 million judgment after filing a lawsuit against Laettner, it seems Laettner still owes Pippen somewhere in the neighborhood of $600,000. So Pippen and his wife are angry with him. Angry enough to start the "Send angry tweets about him and make him look like a jackass until he pays up" part of the process.

SMH. Even though Laettner hasn't put on a Duke uniform in about 25 years, it sounds like this 30 for 30 title is still as applicable as ever. At least for those who have loaned him money.
