Lil Wayne made numerous appearances on ESPN First Take during Skip Bayless’ time on the show. There was the time he shared an awkward moment with Skip while discussing his feelings for LeBron James and the Heat. The time he joked about He Got Game being an autobiographical movie about Ray Allen. And of course, the time he said the Lakers were going to make the NBA Playoffs during the 2015-16 NBA season—and was then accused of being very, very, very high by everyone on Twitter.

Skip is no longer with ESPN and has now taken his talents to Fox Sports 1 to appear on the show Undisputed alongside Shannon Sharpe, but it sounds like that isn’t going to stop him from making more TV magic with Lil Wayne in the future. Early Wednesday, Billboardrevealed that FS1 recently enlisted Wayne to record the theme song for Undisputed. The song is called "No Mercy," and Skip told Billboard why he wanted Wayne to help open every show.

"Lil Wayne has been a friend and frequent guest on my show," he said, "and I’ve told him how honored I am to have such a legend create such a great song for our new show."

You can hear a snippet of the song, which will be available on iTunes sometime in September, here:

That’s not all Wayne is doing for FS1, either. In addition to creating "No Mercy," he has also agreed to appear on the show’s first episode next Tuesday. Undisputed is set to air every weekday at 9:30 a.m. on FS1—half an hour before the start of First Take, which is probably not an accident—and will feature sports talk radio personality Joy Taylor hosting the debates that Skip and Shannon have. Stay tuned to see what role Wayne ends up playing in the first episode.
