In case you missed it, James Harden didn't make the cut for this past season's All-NBA Team selections. Not even the third team. The last time he made it to an All-NBA team was in 2015 (and it was certainly neither for that year's nor this year's All-Defensive Team).

But Kevin Durant, a perennial All-NBAer, thinks it's a travesty that Harden didn't make this year's selection. Durant is riding for his former Thunder teammate that Harden should have been on it. He even called it a "sin" for snubbing the Houston Rockets lefty star guard and 2015 MVP runner-up.

Prior to the USA Basketball team practice at Toyota Center on Sunday, KD gave the Houston Chronicle his case for why he should've been selected to a least one of the three All-NBA team selections:

"Nobody really appreciates what he does except for the players in our league. Everybody on the outside doesn't really appreciate what he brings. Anybody that can put up 29 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and not make the All-NBA team, that's like a sin to even think about not putting a guy like that on the All-NBA team.

Maybe this is motivation for Harden to get back on the team next year. After all, he probably will have to pick up more of the scoring duties now that Dwight Howard is out of town. That's probably what they mutually wanted anyway.
