Jarrett Jack Had the Saltiest Response to Jeremy Lin Signing With the Nets

Early Friday morning, Jeremy Lin announced that he will not be returning to the Charlotte Hornets next season. Instead, he's bringing Linsanity back to New York City and playing for…the Nets?! Yes, the Nets:

According to Yahoo! Sports, the Nets have reportedly agreed to pay Lin $36 million over the next three years to be their point guard:

Lin will replace Jarrett Jack, who played for the Nets for the last two seasons. Brooklyn released Jack on Thursday after failing to find a trade partner for him:

And it appears that Jack had a really (really!) salty response to Lin signing a deal with his now-former team. Here’s what he posted on Twitter a short time after the Lin deal was announced:

But most people still assume he was shading Lin and the Nets, and NBA Twitter responded right away by throwing shade back in Jack's direction:

Lin hasn’t responded—and we wouldn’t expect a response from him—but he did post this tweet thanking the Hornets:
