Right now is the time of the year where you have a real lull in the sports calendar, forcing you to find meaning in your life or, at the very least, find something else to watch on TV. There's no football, no basketball, no baseball, no...whatever sport you're into.

However, tonight, you can catch the 30 for 30 documentary Doc and Darryl, which is about the hard partying antics of the freakishly talented New York Mets duo of the '80s, Doc Gooden and Darryl Strawberry. Even if you're not overly interested in the subject matter remember that it's a 30 for 30, and they're almost universally great.

Thursday morning, Strawberry appeared on SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Radio show to hype the documentary (we think that's what he was doing, anyway) where he admitted to indulging in all manner of vices during Mets games, including smoking cigarettes (meh), drinking alcohol, and also having sex.

When asked about the latter Strawberry told host Evan Cohen, "When I was on the road, probably. It’s a great possibility. In the middle of a game. Let’s just leave it at that. Been there, done that." He further added, "Between innings. It worked out well just how crazy it was. It kind of worked out that way. You point (a woman) out and tell the kid (to go get her).”

This is confirmation of something we already kind of knew about, but Strawberry's blunt admission certainly verifies it.

Despite all those distractions he still managed to win a World Series and make seven consecutive All-Star teams during his time with the Mets.
