Chad Johnson is like lightning; you never quite know when or where he will strike.

On Saturday, Johnson sent out a message on Twitter to let his followers know he was going to try out a cheeseburger at San Marcos 54th Street Bar and Grill in Texas.

Upon seeing this tweet, Texas State University sophomore Brenden Pupi decided to stop by and see if he could meet with the former star NFL wide receiver. When Pupi, two of his roommates, and a couple members of the Texas State football team showed up, Johnson was sitting at the bar by himself. After pulling up a chair next to him, the group stuck around and talked to him for "30-45 minutes." Before leaving, Brenden wanted to try and see if he could squeeze in a game of FIFA, too.

Per San Antonio Express-News:

As Pupi and five others enjoyed their food and conversation with Johnson, Pupi asked if Johnson had time to play FIFA while he was in San Marcos. Johnson replied that he was about to leave to presumably beat one of Pupi's fellow Bobcats in FIFA at their apartment, but that he would re-connect with Pupi on Twitter to set up a gaming session before he left Texas.

After waiting and waiting, Pupi was resigned to the fact that he wasn't going to be facing Chad in FIFA. But then, on Sunday morning, Brenden received a DM from Johnson with the following message: "Wake up, son." Two hours later, Johnson showed up at their apartment.

Johnson ended up staying for 10 hours, competing in FIFA against Pupi, his two roommates, Giuliano Cattaneo and Kregg Lemons, and a few Texas State football players. The only breaks in action came when Chad left to grab donuts, and bought pizza for everyone.
