Stephen Curry’s current estimated net worth is $27 million, but with the Golden State Warrior winning his second consecutive MVP award Tuesday (in unanimous fashion, for the first time in NBA history) and his team positioned as the favorites to win another NBA title, his value is growing by the day.

As people get older and progress in their careers, their living situations tend to improve. Upgrading is a natural process. The process just looks a little different when you’re the most popular player in the NBA.

Curry is selling his Orinda, California, mansion for $3.895 million, according to the Wall Street Journal. The Warriors point guard moved into a larger place in a nearby town a few months ago, the real estate agent for Curry’s mansion told WSJ.

The Curry family bought the Orinda property in 2013 for $3.1 million, but they’ve put in plenty of work to improve it: they added a swimming pool, basketball hoop, and putting green (Curry’s affinity for golf is no secret).

“What we liked most was its warm charm,” Ayesha Curry told WSJ. “It felt like home in every sense of the word and was extremely inviting.”

Apparently, however, they were looking for more space, and their new place is about 2,000 square feet larger. As Young Jeezy once rapped, “It ain't nothing to a boss, my goons got goons / House stupid dumb big, my rooms got rooms.”

The Warriors signed Curry to a bargain deal (four years, $44 million) in 2013, but he’s in for a big pay day in 2017, and his value as an Under Armour endorser is enormous. He has become the face of the company.

Check out some photos of the five-bedroom, 4,700-square-foot house below. If you come up with $4 million, you can live like an NBA MVP.
