England fans are starting to worry that it could be a long summer for them at Euro 2016.

In spite of the optimism surrounding the surprise inclusion of Manchester United wonderkid Marcus Rashford on the train to France, people are furious that Leicester City iron man Danny Drinkwater hasn't made the cut.

Drinkwater was ruled out of the final squad by Roy Hodsgon – along with Andros Townsend and Fabian Delph – while injury-plagued players such as Jack Wilshere and Jordan Henderson will be available for selection when England open their tournament against Russia on June 11th.

Roy Hodgson is coming under fire for picking 'Jack Wheelchair'.

Jack Wilshere has actually won nine Man-of-the-Match awards in his last 13 England games, but he's never won a Premier League medal.

Others think Drinkwater's omission is going to hurt Jamie Vardy.

"Disappointed not to make the final 23! Would of been a fantastic experience to go to the euros as a player... But I'll be supporting the country like I always have! The seasons been a huge positive for me.. Going into next season as a premier league champion! Good luck to the lads... Bring it home #england"

Drinkwater has responded to the decision on Instagram.

Writing on Instagram, Drinkwater said:

The pressure on Roy Hodgson just got turned up a notch.
