Ric Flair had a rough morning today.
According to TMZ Sports, Flair was at Logan International Airport in Boston to catch a flight. But before he did, he reportedly stopped at a lounge inside of the airport and was exhibiting some strange behavior. Several witnesses have told TMZ Sports that Flair appeared to be drunk, with at least one noting that Flair was “having a tough time.”
However, airport police told TMZ Sports that Flair was not drunk inside of the airport. He did need to have treatment done to a cut on his hand at one point. But police say Flair was not intoxicated at the time and was later allowed to board his flight. Flair’s agent Melinda Morris Zanoni also downplayed his alleged behavior and implied that Flair is simply exhausted due to his recent workload.
“Ric has been working every day around the clock, including internationally, for a month straight and has injuries on his hand that were being looked into this morning,” she said. “While it is true Ric Flair and his buddies have been keeping airport bars in business since the 70s, that was not the case at all in Boston. I just hung up with Ric. He is already on the flight and all is good.”
