Luke Walton’s name has been linked to the Knicks’ head coaching gig for months now. Ever since the Warriors assistant coach did a stellar job filling in for Steve Kerr at the start of the 2015-16 NBA season, Walton has reportedly been on the Knicks’ radar. But as of right now, it doesn’t sound like Walton is interested in coaching in the Big Apple.

Walton reportedly spoke with Knicks team president Phil Jackson about coaching the Knicks recently. But according to New York Daily News reporter Frank Isola, those talks didn’t get very far. Isola has been told that Walton isn’t interested in the Knicks’ job:

Luke Walton, according to NBA source, told P Jackson that as of right now he's not interested in NYK job. Unclear if/when they'll talk again

Of course, this could change. But if you’re a Knicks fan, we wouldn’t bank on it. Who do you think they’ll turn to next?
