The Heat staved off elimination on Friday night with signs of the old "Flash" in Dwyane Wade during the fourth quarter of Game 6 in Charlotte.

The 34 year-old Wade scored 10 of his 23 points (10-20 FG) in the fourth quarter, along with Heat forward Luol Deng, who had 21 points.

Hornets' Kemba Walker (14-30 FG) had a playoff career-high of 37 points.  They trailed the Heat by 9 in the closing minutes of the fourth quarter, but "Cardiac" Kemba pushed the final run for the Hornets. He drew an and-one with 3 minutes left in the game, making Heat center Hassan Whiteside foul out. Walker hit a dope step-back jumper to trim the Heat lead to 90-86 with 2:12 left in the game. Then Walker with a clutch lay-up to bring the lead down to 2 with 1:33 to go.

But around the 1-minute mark, D-Wade hit his first 3-pointer in 56 game with and another 46 seconds left.

Then he hit another 18-footer to put them up by five:

On the final Hornets possession, Walker drove to the lane and got blocked by Wade, and he went "Bruce Leroy" on everyone flaring at the crowd like he had the glow.

And, er, Purple Shirt guy didn't like this very much...

Game 7 is Sunday at 1pm in Miami, and Wade doesn't seem washed up just yet.
