If you’re a Trail Blazers fan, there’s no way you felt good about your team last summer. After going 51-31 last season, Portland lost LaMarcus Aldridge, Nicolas Batum, Robin Lopez, and Wes Matthews—four-fifths of their regular starting lineup—as well as Arron Afflalo, and it looked like Damian Lillard was going to be stuck in a really bad situation by himself for at least a few seasons. This meme was used early and often by many NBA fans:

But then, a funny thing happened. The 2015-16 NBA season started, and it became pretty clear that the Blazers weren’t going to be in that much trouble. They worked their way through a seven-game losing streak in November, made headlines when they trounced the Warriors in January behind a 51-point performance from Lillard, and clinched a playoff spot against the Thunder last night after winning seven of their last 10 games.

Lillard wants people to know that he hasn’t forgotten about what everyone had to say last summer, though. Very early this morning, he posted this on Twitter:

It use to be funny... #DontLetThatWorryYa pic.twitter.com/bU6YllgIrj

He also posted this on Facebook:

And he followed that up by posting the Fresh Prince meme again this morning:

So yeah. If you’re thinking about hopping on the Blazers bandwagon now, don’t. No other NBA team epitomizes the #UsAgainstEverybody mentality quite like Portland does this season.
