Midway through the third quarter of Game 4 between the Los Angeles Clippers and Portland Trail Blazers, Chris Paul slapped the ball out of the hands of Gerald Henderson. It's a move Paul has done countless times before. This time, though, something wasn't right and the Clippers star point guard knew it immediately. CP3 clutched his right hand and needed to be taken out of the game.
As he made his way to the locker room, Paul was clearly frustrated and upset.
After getting his right hand looked over by team doctors, Paul was ruled out for the remainder of the contest.
It may seem like a bad injury, but Yahoo sports medicine expert Sports Doc Horner believes that Paul could get back on the court sooner than you think.
However, ESPN's J.A. Adande is reporting an entirely different outcome.
A source said Chris Paul is "most likely" out for the rest of the playoffs because of the broken bone in his right hand. It's possible there could be a better prognosis after more X-Rays once the swelling goes down.
