The Heat are in the middle of a hotly-contested playoff series against the Hornets right now. After jumping out to a 2-0 series lead, Miami dropped two games in Charlotte and looked lost at times on the offensive end of the court. So you would think that they would welcome the idea of bringing their star Chris Bosh—who hasn’t played in nearly three months due to another bout with blood clots—back into the fold. But it doesn’t sound like that’s the case.
According to a tweet sent out earlier this week by his wife Adrienne, Bosh is ready to get back on the court. She started a #BringBoshBack hashtag and everything:
Bosh also posted this video of him sinking a jump shot on Snapchat:
But despite this, Bosh isn’t expected to rejoin the Heat anytime soon, which has led some people to believe that the Heat are holding off on bringing him back. The Heat haven’t said anything publicly about it—other than to say that he’s “out still indefinitely” when contacted by ESPN.com—but it appears as though they are being as cautious as possible with Bosh.
Bosh himself hasn’t spoken on his current status. He is traveling with the team during the NBA Playoffs, but he hasn’t done an interview with the media in quite some time. So for now, everyone will just have to wait and see how the Heat decide to proceed with him.
