David Lee was a pivotal member of the Golden State Warriors' 2015 championship team – perhaps, as his teammates and coaches have noted, more so for his off-the-court leadership than for his statistical contributions. Tonight, before the Warriors played Lee's Mavericks, Stephen Curry led a presentation in which the Golden State organization gave Lee his championship ring.

"He spent five great years here," Curry said. "He embodied what it meant to be a Warrior, he helped change the culture here, and then that five years, it all led up to this ring right here. So we want to thank him for all he did for us, for the organization, for the Bay Area."

The Oracle Arena crowd gave Lee a standing ovation. Lee, an 11-year NBA veteran, is averaging 10.6 points and 8.1 rebounds per game for the Mavericks. In his best year as a Warrior, 2011-12, he averaged 20.1 points and 9.6 rebounds per game.
