With the Philadelphia 76ers leading 103-101 over the Denver Nuggets and just 3.1 seconds remaining, the Sixers had to feel good about their chances of coming away with a win when Emmanuel Mudiay received the inbounds pass near half-court. After all, Mudiay is 30.5 percent from beyond the arc. However, there's one important thing we forgot to factor into this entire equation. This is the poor 9-63 76ers we're talking about.
After fumbling the ball a bit, the Nuggets rookie point guard was able to collect himself, toss up a prayer and deny the Sixers from getting their 10th win of the season.
This is a painful loss for Philly and their fans, but hey, look on the bright side... it's all about The Process, right? Right?!
