Lance Stephenson Is Already Doing Hilariously Bad Things in Memphis

Lance gonna Lance.

Ever since opting against resigning with the Indiana Pacers to test free agency in the summer of 2014, things have spiraled downhill for Lance Stephenson. After averaging a career high 13.8 points per game in his final year in Indy, Stephenson flamed out in Charlotte, where he signed as a free agent two years ago, then got even worse when he joined the L.A. Clippers this offseason. Playing just 15 minutes a game and scoring only 4.7 points, the Clips shipped Stephenson off to Memphis at the trade deadline, his third team in as many years, where Grizzlies ownership was ready to waive him until coach Dave Joerger stepped in.

Though he did end up with 16 points in his first game as a Grizzly, albeit in a loss, it's videos like the one above, in which Stephenson dribbles around like a madman, has no interest in passing unless he's forced to, then turns the ball over, that have become an unfortunate part of Stephenson's game, making him such a frustrating player. It's like once he got out of Doc River's doghouse, it was finally time to roam free.

Good luck with that, Memphis!
