A beauty queen, a MLS player, and whole lot of unknowns have conspired to make for one strange story emerging from Seattle.
KING 5 News has a few details about an incident last month allegedly involving former Seattle Sounders player Marco Pappa and Miss Washington USA Stormy Keffeler. Whatever happened between the two resulted in Pappa being rushed to the hospital with a stab wound to the abdomen.
Inside a South Lake Union apartment last month, police allegedly found Miss Washington USA and soccer star Marco Pappa. The former Seattle Sounders player was bloody with a stab wound to the abdomen, according to a law enforcement source.
Other details regarding the incident appear to be scarce for the time being and strangely KING 5 News is reporting that Pappa has changed the story he originally told police.
Pappa was rushed from the apartment to the hospital where he underwent surgery. His story changed too, according to the source who says there have been no arrests and the case is still under investigation.
Keffeler, 23, was crowned Miss Washington USA back in October and has previously played for the Seattle Mist of the Legends Football League, the former Lingerie Football League. The Sounders shipped Pappa, 28, off to the Colorado Rapids in December. A native of Guatemala, the midfielder has previously played for the Chicago Fire and accumulated 49 international caps and scored 11 goals as a member of the Guatemalan national team.
