Terrell Owens hasn't played a down in the NFL since 2010 but at age 42 he thinks he's good enough to suit up for the Patriots.

The former wide receiver has taken to Bill Belichick's favorite mediums—Facebook and Instagram—in order to lobby New England to sign him.

The Patriots have dealt with rash of injuries over the second half of the season and Tom Brady's numbers have suffered since losing top targets Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edeleman. New England could definitely use some fresh blood at wide out but considering Belichick is a social media virgin, T.O.'s going about this the wrong way.

While Brady continues to play at an extremely high level at age 38, the idea of Owens contributing anything at his advanced age—no matter how many sit-ups he can do in his driveway these days—is preposterous. But keep lobbying, T.O. If there's one thing we know you're still good at in 2015 it's Photoshop.
