As we all know by now, Conor McGregor isn't here to take part, he's here to takeover – and that includes life outside the Octagon, too.
The newly-crowned undisputed UFC featherweight champion cemented his superstar appeal with a 13-second win over Jose Aldo last week and he's capitalising on his hot streak by reportedly landing his first Hollywood role.
The fighting Irishman will star alongside Vin Diesel in the upcoming the upcoming xXx: The Return of Xander Cage. Appearing to confirm the news on Instagram, Diesel uploaded a selfie with McGregor above a caption that reads:
Timing and precision... The casting of the new XXX gets more exciting everyday. #liveforthisshit
Vin Diesel has previous experience of starring alongside UFC talent.
At this point, we'd have to assume Vin Diesel is a bit of an MMA geek.
Earlier this year, he starred alongside Ronda Rousey in the seventh installment of the Fast franchise.
McGregor will be hoping he has better luck in UFC post-Hollywood than Ronda did.
