The Ohio State football team is enjoying a few days off before they begin preparing for their Fiesta Bowl game against Notre Dame. So things should be quiet in Columbus, Ohio right now. But unfortunately, they’re not because of legal situation involving the team’s star defensive lineman Adolphus Washington.

According to reports coming out of Columbus, Washington was arrested on Wednesday night and hit with a first-degree misdemeanor charge of solicitation. Very few details about what happened are available at this time, but Washington is scheduled to make a court appearances next week. And while it’s unclear how Ohio State will discipline him—“Disciplinary action will be handled internally,” an Ohio State spokesman said today—he could be forced to miss all or part of his team’s game against Notre Dame. Either way, it will be the final game of his college career.

Stay tuned for additional details.
