ESPN anchor Robert Flores isn’t afraid of stirring things up on SportsCenter. If you remember, he’s the guy who took a shot at Iggy Azalea on the air earlier this year—and then followed it up by getting into it with Nick Young on Twitter. But earlier today, he dropped a bomb that hit very close to home.

While discussing a touchdown dance that Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce did in the end zone yesterday, Flores wondered why ESPN First Take didn’t cover it at length like they covered Cam Newton’s dab celebration earlier this month. And then, he provided an answer for his own question.

“Now, I’m wondering why there’s no letters to the editor or why First Take’s not doing, ‘Should Travis Kelce be dancing in the end zone?’” he asked. “I wonder why they’re not doing that. Oh, it’s because he’s not black. That’s probably what it is.”

We can’t imagine the ESPN higher-ups being too happy with this. But Flores does raise an excellent point regarding the way Kelce's dance has been covered versus the way Newton's was.
