In advance of the 2008 NFL season, Ken Whisenhunt made it known that he would be starting Kurt Warner as quarterback of the Arizona Cardinals while Matt Leinart, just two years into his career, would be heading to the bench.

Considering that the Cardinals ended up in the Super Bowl that season, it was undoubtedly the right decision. But Leinart evidently still holds a grudge against Whisenhunt to this day.

The Tennessee Titans fired Whisenhunt on Tuesday, after he had amassed a win-loss record of just 1-6 this season and 3-20 overall since taking the job in 2014. Leinart, for some reason, took to Twitter to celebrate.

Titans coach fired. Now Marcus Mariota has a chance!

Karma

Karma for what, exactly? For playing the better quarterback during a Super Bowl season, while the one who was chosen to be the backup found himself out of the NFL entirely just four years later?

Leinart may have his opinions about Whisenhunt, but he isn't exactly taking things too seriously -- as evidenced by the fact that he was willing to pass along this unflattering remark to his more than 56,000 followers.

@MattLeinartQB Whisenhunt wasn't the reason why you were awful in the NFL. Let it go already.
