This Goal from a High School Match in Japan Is as Good as Anything You'll See All Week

Japanese high school football isn't a joke.

The best goal you'll see this week wasn't even scored in a professional game.

That honour falls to a match in Japan's 94th national high school football championship between Sakuyo and Tamano-Koman. The game is so obscure we can't even track down the goalscorer.

The goal is pretty much the tactical brainchild of Pep Guardiola and Sam Allardyce as a large punt upfield results in a sequence of brilliant airbound play, finishing with a screaming volley from 25 yards out.
