Robert Griffin III's no good, very bad year continues.

Washington's third-string quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner from his days at Baylor had a statue at his alma mater vandalized Thursday.

Erected in Grffin's honor back in 2014 outside McLane Stadium, the bronze statue was smeared with purple spray paint across its chest and knees, leading many to conclude it must have been TCU fans who were behind the caper.

Despite both schools downplaying a burgeoning rivalry, things appear to be heating up between the fan bases. The two teams meet Nov. 27 at TCU in what should be one of the biggest games of the college football season.
