There wasn't a whole lot for Vikings fans to celebrate during their team's 20-3 loss to the 49ers on Monday, but at least one guy who was at the game found a reason to get excited.
After Carlos Hyde ran for a 17-yard touchdown and jumped into the stands to get some love from the hometown fans, the dude in the purple jersey stuck out like a sore thumb as he came over to try to get a piece of the action.
There are acceptable reasons to celebrate an opposing team's touchdown, but they all revolve around fantasy football or other forms of gambling. Getting hype as your favorite team gets crushed for the sole purpose of getting some face time on national television, however, might just be fan behavior at its worst.
