Metta World Peace has spent a lot of time working out with the Lakers recently, so this doesn't come as a total shock. But according to Yahoo! Sports reporter Adrian Wojnarowski, World Peace has agreed to a one-year, non-guaranteed deal with the team, which is great for him when you consider that he already predicted Kobe Bryant is going to win his sixth ring this season.

World Peace—who didn't play in the NBA at all last season—is reportedly scheduled to sign his deal with the Lakers today before taking a physical tomorrow. Assuming that all goes well, he will then join the team in Hawaii next week where the Lakers will hold their training camp this preseason (must be nice!). World Peace probably won't play a huge role for the team this season, if he makes it, but he is expected to serve as a mentor to young Lakers star-in-the-making Julius Randle.

Welcome back, Metta. You gonna ball in those amazing panda kicks this year?
